Kim Scipes recently published a piece with some useful information about the ongoing connections between the AFL-CIO's Solidarity Center, the National Endowment for Democracy and U.S. foreign policy. One need not be a cynic to suspect the alliance poses a serious threat to democracy in Latin America and elsewhere.
